AppBeat DC is the only solution to provide true hardware-based TCP termination and strict HTTP multiplexing. Acting as a reverse proxy between the client and the server, it buffers incoming HTTP requests from client-side connections, then proxies fully buffered requests to the server over a controlled number of persistent LAN connections, buffering HTTP responses and allowing the server to move on to the next request immediately.

 

The combination of true TCP termination, buffering, strict HTTP multiplexing and HTTP request queuing relieves servers of much of the work of connection management, delivering a consistent LAN-like environment for servers and dramatically improving application performance.

 

Zero-latency Compression

Data compression reduces the amount of data sent to the user, cutting bandwidth
